Welcome - right colour combo, right wheels, right engine - you lucked-out 
M badge is your call - however there's lots of other M parts you can fit that do a lot more than the badge ever will. My advice - whip it off, and keep it as a spare for the M you'll have in a few years

Totally agree 108's are IMO one of the best and 100% clear leader in easiest to clean of all Z4 alloys

Stuart, I got the genuine BMW strut brace. They cost £300 inc vat, but if you ask for a 15% discount, they say yes. I have this trick. I just say "can I have my usual 15% discount" and because I word it like that, they assume I always get it, so they just give it. Say it with conviction and they wont doubt you 
I paid about £250 inc vat in the end.

Bing, I do like the 3 litre, 2.2 and 2.5 are a tad under-powered for me. Not that I drive like a lune, but I do like to be able to overtake safely, and pull off slip-roads onto motorways and see the juggernaut in my rear view mirror getting smaller at a rapid speed, as apposed to larger; eeeek
3 litre is no M power, but it works just fine.
Thanks for the complements guys. Amazing what you can get for just £6,950, and they can be had cheaper than that. Why folk walk into Ford dealerships and spend £20,000 on a brand new Mondeo is totally beyond me.

A 'stubby' is a short replacement for your whip aerial - mine is an OEM BMW one, in the pic below :
You can get shorter and cheaper from eBay, and some other car makes fit, like Peugot ; some renegades prefer the original. The choice whether you fit one of any kind or not is yours - personally I think it looks better, but my whippy looks like it's been chewed by a squirrel / teething baby so had to go.

Bing, did you notice less wind noise after fitting stubby?
When driving my Z I can hear wind noise coming from behind the passenger head-rest. I thought it could be off the aerial.
I'll have to have a friend drive it so I can sit in passenger seat to see if wind noise comes from the drivers side also. I know it's convertible and wind noise is going to be inevitable.

Looks kinda familiar to one I was looking at 3yrs ago, black with the M badge and 5 spoke 108's... makes you wonder. The owner was adamant it had m-sport seats, but wouldn't prove it... so no trip to south wales for me to see it. I wonder... Hmmmmm...
I'd give the seats a really good deep clean with a fairly stiff brush and feeding session with some quality leather products. It gets rid of the sagging and removes the sheen no end!

Yep, the seats will come up really nice with some work. I use Gliptone which seems pretty good really. And then I use an Autoglym wheel brush (like a big pastry brush) to agitate the cleaner around on the seat, then I wipe away the grime and leave em to dry... then on with the leather feed bit.
They go nice and matte and smooth and smell great.
Red seats are the best imo

Nigel - changing the aerial won't reduce wind noise, it's just part of the roadster experience... However, if it's very bad you might want to check the windows, because if they don't sit tight enough against the rubber you will get noise at speed. Lots of threads on here about adjusting windows to get rid of the noise... Bit of a faff though. My drivers window seems to be slightly out of line as I get increased noise (to the point it bothers me) above 70mph... However as it's really only at high speed I'm leaving it for now. If it was leaking that would be a different story...

This one seems fine with regard to windows. However, I had it hand-cleaned the other day at one of those petrol stations that have been taken over by car wash guys. The hand jet wash part blasting against the car had 2 or 3 tiny drips on the inside of both driver and passenger windows, but I was not surprised with this design of car. It was very very minimum considering the jet-wash force.
Just tried removing M badge, that self-adesive must be strong as I could hardly budge it so I think I might have to leave it there.

A bodywork shop or your dealer will be able to remove it (maybe when it's in for a service). You need it off, asap lol.

Autoglym wheel brushes are normally at good halfords stores, I prefer using a sponge though.
