My new Z4 pics and wheel refurb advice needed

Hi Everyone,

I got my Z4 last week so I though I should put some pics up. The wheels need a refurb and I'm thinking of having them done in Black Chrome finish as in the single alloy picture at the bottom - what do you think?
Need to clean the leather seats and give the body a good polish!

Specs are as follows:

hi mate... shes got all mod cons eh.
For that size prob best go that shadow chrome, will look cool. Although id be tempted to refurb in gloss black, hmmm.
Im surprised there hasnt been a mass of 'get a stubby aerial' posts.... you need one tho!

Lepsons have a good rep if there is a branch near you.

LTT on the leather leaves a nice OEM Matt finish.
 
Looks nice :thumbsup: . I rememeber when my alloys looked like that :(

Shadow chrome will look best. Not too dark but enough to toughen up the look slightly.

The more i look at the aluminium dash, the duller it looks :| , i have to do something with mine soon :)

Nice toy, looks like a small amount of TLC will have looking a million dollars.Such a shame all 108's are such poor quality,spoils everything.Why oh why did BMW sign off such poor accessories.
 
Welcome Supro great car - love the colour, front bumper, rear diffuser, skirts and 108 combo :thumbsup:

Initial other observations:

Don't have the windows halfway down - not cool
Don't get out and leave the engine running - it's illegal
Are you a prison office with that bunch of keys and shades?
Why are your headlights on in bright sunshine?
All the vents are turned down with the roof open - are you avoiding a draft?


OK - so I'm just kidding....

Wheels - I'd suggest smoked chrome and avoid going too dark - they look really good that way. you might ask one of the experts to photoshop them for you. It helped me.
 
Supro, loose the keys and shave 0.5 seconds off your 0-60 time :) Seriously though- welcome, looks like a car with loads of potential.
 
Nice love the aero kit!

How do you keep the sunglasses under the handbreak without risking crushing them when you lower it? I left my Blackberry there once, lowered my handbreak and my knuckle smashed its screen!
 
lol, thanks for the comments. I want to keep this car close to factory standard - I spent lots of money modding my old car so one reason for getting a z4 was it's good enough for me as it is and I'm fed up of modding cars - I've modded plenty of cars before, now I'm old and boring.
