My New Years Wish

Button is a good driver but Alonso is in a different class. Just hoping the new Honda engine will give both of them the chance to fight the Merc's!
 
There's actually a few other wishes I'd like first, but if I have a spare one I agree :thumbsup:
 
I would truly love to see it but think it unlikely.

When Alonso was at McLaren 7 years ago, he showed his true colours when throwing his toys out of the pram - he publicly stained/ruined his reputation and looked like a complete and utter spoilt little pr1ck. In addition, Alonso is well known for getting himself involved in the F1 politics and stirring it up. You can only imagine the kind of mind games he tries to play with his team mates. A shame really as he is so naturally talented/skilled/experienced that he doesn't need to do so.

As much as I secretly think he is probably THE best driver, I REALLY dislike him.

I don't think JB know where Alonso disappeared to in some races, but in others will keep him honest. For Button, the next 2 years will be the biggest challenge he has EVER had (including trying to win his championship) - he will be deemed either a worthy F1 champion or as as someone who has had their time...... I hope it's the former

Good to see JB has another chance though as when he is in form, he does us proud flying the Union Jack :driving:

Agree, which is why it will be all the more hilarious if he absolutely destroys him.

The world peace thing is good too, I guess. :thumbsup:
 
Button for me also .......hope he whips Alonso's arse !!!!
There will be no world peace at McLaren or 99p a litre !!!! :driving:
 
I would love to see it as well.

As for the championship, they are both getting on a bit and it seems to be a young mans game these days.
