What a change de-gingering makes, it looks like a different car!! Mine changed considerably too after I de-gingered it 2 weeks ago !! Angels looks nice but I can't justify opening my headlights for them at the moment

As on the other thread - looks gorgeous Jonny

This forum continues to be ace, nice jobs boys.

Off topic - I see from your sig you have custom red mats Jonny... Where did you get them ?

Had an epic but very tough modding weekend, first fitment of my BMW 313's with MPSP tyres then a meet up with Luke, Monkey, Ben G, and Marius......great lads
Luke and I did a de-ginge and Angel eye conversion with the help of Marius and Ben G and Mat finished off his quad so good day all round, anyway heres my finished Zed.
Thanks goes out to all the forum lads, and Marius for re-coding my Zed as well :D
Enjoy :)

From one Johnny to another johnnny great job well done.

I'm new to the BMW world, so a learning curve. Just sold my fully modified Jaguar XKR and now I have to start again asking tedious questions sorry about this. Can I ask about your wheels. I see they are from a 313, do these simply bolt and and they are the correct offset etc? Yours sit in the arches perfectly.

love your car mate, hopefully getting a front m bumper in a few month`s myself and then aero skirts for next year maybe treat myself to a spoiler too,
car looks the nuts mate

Hi Jonhny :) well you know how to mod thats more then i did 5 months ago but thanks to this EPIC forum im learning.
I had 18" 107's before on stock height then i went on H&Rs which dropped her my 35mm then the 313's are 19" and fit straight on and with no rubbing even on massive speed bumps
My advive is be mindful of your off set, if you drop by 35-40mm then put 19" wheels on make sure your tyres are a small profile and your be ok but if not and you use spacers too then theres a risk your wheels will rub on arches :slaphead:

Many thanks for your reply, can I ask what tyre size you currently have. This will be the key to bringing back the wheel to it's original radius and stop any rubbing.

It's not the diameter that causes any rubbing as you say the tyre size corrects that. It's the offset and width with 19" wheels 35 profile front 30mm rear.

Forgot to ask you matt, what offset are your rear wheels? I noticed you had 255's on instead of 265's. I have 235/35's currently on the back, hence the stretch, but feel I could go up to a 245/255 with 30 profile and not rub.

I must say, that particular part of england is rather beautiful. Before I got onto the A14 I went down some rural roads and the countryside was lovely.

Mind you, loved it when I got back in essex and was greeted with yellow fields full of what I believe is rapeseed.

I have 235 fronts and 265 rears johnnnnnny

Thanks for the info, these wheels suit the car and colour silver. One last question, what profile are they?
Profile is 19".....dont get any smaller, anything else are bottle tops in my opinion  although 17" with fat tyres if you buy a seperate winter set.

19" will be the wheel size. The profile will be written on the tyre 235/??/19 .... 235 (tyre width)/ ?? (profile)/ 19 (Diameter of wheel)

Generally you will be getting staggered fitment wheels for a zed wider back to front. 8" front 9- 10" rear I have 225 x 35 front 255 x 30 rear on a 9 1/2" rear. Hope that helps
