No new posts for ages then a couple in an hour! :o

For anyone who is interested here's a pic of the new braces I've just fitted under the bonnet.

Again I'm not sure it'll be to everyone's taste but BMW clearly thought there was some flex in the front end with the OEM bracing so I can't see any harm in beefing it up a bit.

Did you by any chance recently win this on eBay? If so well done, cracking price, gutted I missed out! :driving:

I mght have! :tumbleweed:

The quality of the welding and the machining is absolutely superb, and if you fancy:

eBay item number: 260858759389

Looks good. Hope it works as well as the 1 piece bars.

I love mine, can hit corners a lot flatter now (less body roll) and the back end gets out a lot easier on roundabouts... Enjoy

I have the exact same one (bought prev ebay offering) I think it makes the car feel a little more planted but not by much. Then again I only have a 2.0 so I can't drive like my pants are on fire anyway lol

Or alternatively he could just drive with the bonnet closed... probably a bit safer anyway ;) :poke:
