Is it any coincidence that the V sounds a lot better than the flat or straight but is also quite a lot less economical?

I found the 3.2 in TT was no worse or better than the 3.0 in Coupe on fuel . I am getting tempted to go with the same V6 but in a Porker :o not everyone,s taste i know but hard to ignore the value of 06 Cayenne,s just now  http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201405144183803/sort/default/usedcars/model/cayenne/onesearchad/used%2Cnearlynew%2Cnew/page/1/make/porsche/maximum-age/up_to_8_years_old/postcode/bb120hr/radius/200?logcode=p

I must admin my fuel consumption has been a bit high in the first few weeks of new ownership. . . . . as im finding im blipping the throttle or giving it a little squeeze to hear the exhaust! Still once I calm down and give it a decent run il report back on my findings! :)
