Cheers!-stunning machine!

Thanks Andy

It's done well in that it has taken my mind off my old E89. Seeing Jimbo in that pic today made me a little sad. It's crazy how a car can make you feel this way. It's a very important part of my life.....probably because I don't have kids etc.....

The engine is more throaty, but like I said, the E89 relies on the exhaust note and the SLK on the engine sound....I prefer the sound on the SLK to be honest as even at low speed, it sounds very muscular.

I used a company called CSK in Watford today to get my mods done, getting smart top module next week

I agree and I have kids(grown up)-I was soo sad to see my zed go

Told you, you are just too old for a sports car now so it is time to settle in something smooth and comfy (pipe and slippers  )

...Says the man who just bought a 3.5 litre V6 ...
There's always the AMGs. I so nearly bought an SLK55 AMG a couple of years ago. Stonking stonking engine, just fabulous. Went Audi S4 Cab instead.

Just been out for a drive, and I didn't believe I would feel this way, but I am really enjoying the car. Helped by the fact that it's nearly like new. In 3 days, I have done the following

1. Xenon lamp conversion kit
2. Smart Top Module
3. Replacement AMG carpet mats
4. New LED lights to interior
5. New centre wheel caps and tyre valve caps
6. Machine polished the bonnet
7. New carbon fibre gear selector

Having the centre console and electric window areas carbon fibre wrapped on Friday.

It's so scarily close to looking new, even I'm impressed by it!!

Congratulations Stark - not my cup of tea yet, but it's a lovely motor and its great you're making it 'yours' already.

Can't believe the tart has finally settled down, thought it would never happen
