My New Eibach Springs are wonky donky!

Ok i got this delivered by DHL this morning... they were not packaged brilliantly... and the springs were intertangled... however is it normal for my springs to be crooked?

They seem almost evenly crooked though:

Even the fronts are not 100% indentical:

Anyone else have this problem? Should i return them the supplier?

Just seen this post... http://www.z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=36523
And those springs look the same as mine, cooked on the rears, not very good build quality!!

I would just contact the manufacturers and ask them if this is 'normal' - if they assure you that is fine then I would be happy- otherwise I'd be thinking about the way they will respond to the stresses involved with that 'odd' shape.
Hope you get it sorted out soon.

Looks wrong, never seen that before. Even the bargsin amazon springs were lovely and round

I have fitted eibachs to both my previous s2k and celica and they have always been round... And progressively spun.

These seem far more inferior to what i remember my old ones being like.

I cant see how transport could have bent them, they are rock solid!!

I'll send them an email and see what they say.

The ones I removed off mine when fitting new lowering ones were identical to those, very odd shape!

I got them from germany :( . Emailed FK where i bought them from (£150 shipped vs £200+ for uk suppliers) but i suspect they are meant to be like this... Seen a few posts with pics and they look like mine...

I think bing bought the one in my link further up... Those look the same, the fronts less symetrical then mine even :o

Hey, i fitted my eibachs from FK just the other day, and they looked the same as that, (providing the bit your concerned about is the sharp bend to the right of the top picture, as that fits perfectly round the rubber foot on the dampener).

And they have been on for 5 days now, 100 miles with no problems :)
