My new daily driver

Well unless it is sunny/nice out. Or I feel like speeding....I bought a shiny 2002 Ford Mondeo Zetec (Diesel). /golfclap

It drives surprisingly well, a bit chuffed that I couldn't find a decent one in good repair with cruise control but money can't get you everything. Unfortunately poking around google & ford forums it doesn't seem like the diesels can have cruise fitted.
I'll have to sort out a clunking on the rear offside wheel area (knocked 100 quid off the price for that) but other than that there is only minor (very minor) cosmetic damage to the car compared to the many others we looked at.

Looks like a good runner. I use a Kia c'eed as my workhorse almost 50mpg and that's not hanging around either. Prestige of being top gears reasonably priced car - Tom Cruise cornered on 2 wheels. Seventy five year or 1 million miles warranty as well. Too good to be true - wtf did I buy a Z?

When did we sell thetford to the USA? Are you interested in Swindon as well?

Lol, You'd be surprised how many Americans live in Thetford. I'd say half the people on RAF Lakenheath/Mildenhall live in Thetford or Bury St Edmonds

Know it well. My sister lives in Mildenhall just a few hundred yards from the runway and my mum moved there a couple of years ago. Will be visiting in a couple of weeks in the c'eed as my mother refuses to run behind the z.
