My new car :) few questions.

Hi, I have recently bought a 2006 2.5 sport roadster. I am very pleased with it but I have noticed a few things I am unsure of. Should the underside of the bonnet and the underside of the boot lid have insulation material on it? My car is just bare and can't tell if it's missing or was ever supposed to have it?

Others will be able to tell you with certainty, my E46 and 645 certainly had insulation under the bonnet, can't recall if my Zed does or not.

I have a coupe so can't help on the rear but there is sometimes carpet or something on the inside of the BMW bootlid, sometimes not. It's model-specific.

None on mine, I am sure the engine would melt it given the temps that this thing gets, (when heavy footed ). Have you posted up some pics of the new ride?

Decent weather? Is it raining? No = hood down.

It wasn't yesterday [raining that is] so it was down. AC and heated seats on - toasty.

p.s. I'm 'told' that any rain goes over you at 30mph+
