Hi Everyone,

I've been posting for a while now and kept promising to post some of my own pics so, here they are....at last!

Excuses first!

1 - Mobile camera (sorry)
2 - Just washed and I was freezing, did my best to avoid the shakes :D
3 - I've only had the car for 3 weeks and today was the fist decent day to wash (that's Scottish weather for ya), and had no time for polishing or detailing.
4 - There's a slight ding on the nearside wing, again had no chance to get this sorted but it's one for a dent company.
5 - <blank> I'll come up with something when I start getting these... :poke:

Spent today.....

Washing (again), neighbours think i've lost it, nothing new there then.

Clay baring
Wax
Cold water rinse to seal the wax
Final coat of sealent/super shine
Polished the exhaust trim (badly needed)
Gutted the interior

I'm whacked and now wish I had the new camera :x , the 4's looking good though.

Anyway, liking the forum very much, been helped loads already and hope I'll be able to return the favour during my time here. Tomorrow I'm taking my better half to Loch Lomond as the weather is to be good, fingers X'd we get the top down!

Nice - looks like someone has been working on it too. Spoiler, clear side lenses, full circle lights, aftermarket rears, clear third brake, red brakes, etc
 
very nice, same as mine but with a spoiler. How come those 108's look so good ? wish mine looked as new as that.

cj10jeeper, i'm a little ignerrant here sorry, full circle lights...is that not normal? Just been reading a post for full circle brake lights, same thing? Obviously wasn't pressing the brake peddal whilst taking the pics but not intrigued if this mod has been done already.

Aftermarket rears?

Think as you say, a previous owner has done some work, the clear lights (except headlights which are clear/yellow) were factory, not sure about the brakes (seen a few red, not many).

Possibly my error in glancing at the shots, but when converted the full circle of the brake light illuminates on a press, not just the outer half of the ring. Get someone to press the brake pedal and that will tell you for sure. Easy mod if you want to do it just by adding a link wire in each light harness.

The rears are not OEM with their 'white spots' so they are aftermarket. OEM had amber indicators

The side repeaters are amber on a prefacelift, so they are aftermarket for sure. Easy fix and probably purchased from BMW

The centre brake light is also a replacement as OEM is red.

Rear spoiler is aftermarket too and the brake calipers home painted or coated

Thanks for the clarrification cj10jeeper, the full ring brake light mod is on things to do list as is, fitting stubby and new wipers. The Z4 is off to the stealer this week for oil and brake service, after which wallet stays closed until next year, supposed to be saving for a holiday to Egypt in 6 weeks time :oops:

Lookin good- and you will love egypt- i went inn july and it was nothing short of Breath taking!
