My new '58 M

HOPEFULLY should be getting my new Z4 M Roadster today, subject to everything being as it should.

Having not owned one since mid December I can't help but feel a little jittery, I have really missed having something I can be proud of on the driveway. It may not be as good-a-deal as I got last time, but hey it's only money... although interestingly this will be the first time I have ever owned a non '07 reg car! This one is a 58' and it appears to have a good history with all the servicing done in well known BMW dealerships, no funny bits that would make you think. A couple more owners than I would like (I'll be the 5th) but on my last one I was the 4th and tbh that never made any difference to me. It's also in the colours I originally wanted when I bought my first one, but you'll have to wait and see the pics :wink:

I have a couple of things I'm thinking of doing to it;

- H&S or RPI exhaust
- 19'' CSL (OEM or replica) or Alpina alloys
- Carbon/black vinyl wrap on the front & rear lip
- ...also the grill, unless I can find a matt black one to replace it with
- Fit my new titanium M gear knob :)

But this might go on the back burner until something shows up.

Perfect weather to collect a convertible so I will be one happy chappy if it's up to scratch.

Already have a couple of events lined up too; PHSS Silverstone on the 17th Feb, BMWOC meet 23rd Feb, Goodwood Breakfast Club 3rd March, and currently planning a trip to Denmark/Germany later in the year...

CABRIOLET SEASON IS COMING BACK! :D

...but first things first. Must collect. Pics etc. to follow later - wish me luck!

---UPDATE---

she's home... :wub:

Are you going to spill how you wrote the last one off :poke:

Um... not yet, and I'd rather not post about it - happy to discuss in person if anyone asks me at a meet :D

On another note;

LIVE FROM THE SHOWROOM - he's only going ahead! Pics to come when the car is on the driveway.

Those duration of nearly two whole months must have been really tough :wink:

Can't wait to see photos.

Yeah... all the sunny weather through december and january I've been missing out on... oh wait. :roll:

---OP updated with pics---

BTW; Who knows how to remove/fit a gearstick to one of these near Surrey? Don't want to f*** it up and don't want to pay BMW to do it!

Wow that's lovely exactly the same as mine minus the roof! Congrats!

Yeah I did try a coupe but I just kept looking up... then sighing...

I always have the roof down unless it's actually raining or snowing :P
