My new 19" CSL replicas

Another biased viewpoint, but +1 on the choice of wheel and colour. Good to know Mark at BMA has worked his magic yet again

The profiles i went for were 225/35/19 + 235/35/19, apparently talking to Mark the 255/30/19s are quite expensive and he recommends going for the 235s. The car is lowered on eibachs and so far iv not noticed any rubbing issues :) the ride is also better without my 18" runflats too!
The price with the tyres fitted and balanced and delivery it came to £1100

car looks nice btw !........i'm guessing he advised you to run the 235 rear tyre because the alloys aren't a staggered set up?

No its a staggered setup (8j front, 8.5j rear), looking on the web i think 255 is the maximum width you can get on an 8.5j wheel so going slightly smaller isnt a problem. The ride is better, you still feel all the bumps but it doesnt feel like wheels are gonna come through the car when you go over pot holes! If you stick with 18s then the ride will be even better. Iv not bought a can of holts yet as im only using it round town at the moment but its what il end up getting just in case, iv got breakdown anyways so its not a problem.

I have some very similar to that sitting in my garage. Tyres arrived today (finally) so hopefully I'll have mine fitted the weekend. Hope they look as good as that. I think mine are 8.5j front 9.5j rear, so I've got the 235 and 265 set up on the tyres.

Looking forward to those extra few cm of rubber, as my 225 rear tyres (winter yokos) are really struggling to put power down now its warming up.

With the 9.5" rear you should certainly see more of the dished style wheel, which is what i love about the CSL's !

They are lovely! How has the ride been affected? My 18's with RFT's are spoiling my fun so would you recommend conventional shoes with a can of holts tyre weld in the boot? :scratchhead:
No brainer. Definitely. You won't regret it.
