[/img]Hey Everyone.. I fixed my rear center console and then when I had to get my starter replaced the service tech or whoever must have tried to open it and it’s broken again but worse! If I order a cover, is that latch assembly in the cover; or on the entire interior box inside compartment?
 
Have a look at realoem.com for the part that's broken so you can see if it includes the latch.
It begs the question why someone would need to open the rear console to fix the starter?

Oh, and sorry about my post regarding the key fob charging in your other thread - for some reason I thought you had an E89, although the point about them charging while plugged into the ignition still holds. All E85/E86 Z4's key fobs use rechargeable batteries (unless modified by the owner).
