My new 08 3.0si has Transmission Issues???

Hello everyone!
Just bought a 2008 Z4 3.0si Coupe with 80k miles yesterday, it has the 6 sp autotrans with paddle shifters. After driving it again today it has started to have major issues. First it started out as a back and forth feeling with a visible up and down on the speedo but not on the tachometer. Then it started to not want to shift to next highest gear, 4th to 5th I believe. In man mode it shifts into all gears but did make a turbo pressure relief valve noise a couple of times. Lastly at stop pulling forward slowly I had what felt like brakes coming on and off. My tpms light is on and won't reset, not sure if it has something to do with it? Engine seems very strong and runs like silk. Battery shows 2018. Tire pressure is 45 back 32 front.

I'm getting the stink eye from the wife for not getting it checked out before buying. Would a valve body seals and solenoid replacement possibly fix this? Is this a diy or get a shop to do it? I just hope it doesn't need an entire transmission.

Thanks for any help at all!!!

Starting with the basics You really need a decent indy to code read & give the car a trial , issues with these autoboxes are pretty rare .
At 11yrs / 80k a fluid change would be routine though bmw say sealed for life .

The tpms / at stop press & hold the TPMS button (below radio) for a few seconds until light on dash changes , then press again .
Pressures themselves ? Sensitive to each driver / wheelset / tyre choice but try 32/33 front 34/36 rear .
Lastly welcome to the forum , i just sold a auto Si coupe , great cars when running right
