My M Steering Wheel Upgrade

Does anyone know, Do only Z4 specific Msport steering wheels fit? or can you use for example a 1 or 3 series wheel? the standard one in my E85 needs changing but I'm struggling to find one at a reasonable price.

Why does it need changing ? You can have it recovered by Royal Steering Wheels for about £120. I think they are flexible if you can't do without a steering wheel - pretty sure that I saw they provided a temporary replacement for a forumite to use whilst theirs was being done...while you're at it you can have them make yours more padded so it's a similar thickness to the M Sport wheel.

I may still go down the road of having it re-covered, but the silver plastic bits on the spokes look a bit tacky also, would rather have a nice Fat Matt black Msport one

Mines a sports wheels with tri colour stitching apart from the trims whats the difference?

Yours is the same as mine Jonny. An SE wheel re trimmed and fatter with tri colour stitching. The key thing is that our wheels don't have the detailing in the leather either side of the bottom spoke
