Ash wood trim? You don't like carbon aluminium? I thought you ordered sat nav. What options on the car?
 
That looks beautiful, really beautiful in the blue with white interior combined with your choice of rims :thumbsup:

Can't say I'd go with the ash trim - not sure about that.

Let's see it with the roof down then.... :poke:
 
agreed on the wood trim never been a fan on any car.

the other thing i dont like about the new zeds is the different coloured mirrors. are you able to choose to have them colour coded?
 
:thumbsup: Many congratulations sir! I obviously have a bias towards deep sea blue, but the wheels and interior and the tin-foil mirrors go really well together! Its beautiful. :wink: :D I think the front bumper on the iS is actually better looking than on the M Sports.

Be warned, deep sea blue is not that much better than black and will show marks and dirt quite easily. :evil:

Surprised you didn't go for Nav or bum warmers though. :?

I'm a bit worried seeing "part 1" in the title :D

But a beauty of a car sir. Love the exterior - those alloys are lovely - but like others, the wood isn't my type of thing.

There are more threads on, about or in relation to this car than any other Z4 on the forum :)

Lovely looking motor though especially in IS spec. Do like the wheels and more aggressive look / stance....

If the car has sat nav, the radio will not have display screen. Also you can see the button to open for extra storage.
 
I was fascinated by the photo of the rev counter where the markings are on a raised section. I went out and checked my own car only to realise its exactly the same! :D Love the sDrive 35is detailing on the rev counter and carpet mats. :)
 
To those that have no taste, :fuelfire: :) :) I specked this car in December when all option details where still sketchy, the Carbon Alloy effect was not available at the time.
I have since seen the Carbon and I'm still glad I went with the Ash because it does look a good contrast against the Beige interior and looks classy, but maybe it's an age thing?

Rudd-The silver mirrors are mandatory on the iS, no other model has them, didn't like them before I got the car and made my mind up I was going to have them sprayed, but they seem to have grown on me and I now really like them as they match the wheels.

The 326 Alloys look better that I'd hoped.

I should have been out driving now but it's pi**ing down with rain outside :thumbsdown:

I'd definitely keep them, they suit the car and the brushed effect is smart.....if they were shiny I'd agree it might be too much

they also nicely match the silver inserts at the top of the headlights...
