Whilst I was parked up at the Seal Sands nature reserve earlier today having my lunch in the glorious weather I was approached by a retired couple asking if they could borrow my phone so they could phone a friend to come and collect them as they had locked their keys in their new car which they'd only had for two days.
I asked were they lived and and as is wasn't to far out of my way i offered to drive them home to pick up the spare key and drive them back,they seemed quite shocked that i was more than happy to go out of my way to help them out of the situation,i could sympthise with them as I've done it myself
The husband did get a bit of an ear bending from the wife but within the hour he was back in his car and heading home.
It really did make me feel good that i was able to just drop everything and help them out
