My First Z4

Hi folks. I was looking for a Z3 before a friend pointed out that there were a few Z4's at the top end of my budget, so I took the plunge and got this 2003 2.5. It's got a decent spec; heated seats, air con, electric roof, pro nav. I'm extremely pleased with it so far. It handles beautifully and the 2.5 seems to be a good match for the chassis on an enthusiastic B road blast.





There's a couple of minor niggles. Those chrome number plate surrounds have to go, and the roof sits higher at one side than the other when it's down.

Anyway, looking forward to being a part of the community :)

With regard to the roof, check how it's folded on the higher side compared to the other as this can cause the issue you describe.

2 years ago I did a similar thing. I was looking for a Z3 didn't consider a Z4.
After looking at some Z3 rough diamonds I realised I could get a Z4 for my budget. 8)

That was the first thing I checked, and unfortunately it is all folding correctly as far as I can see. I'll take some more detailed photos and get a thread started.
