New to the Forum!

Finally bought my first Z4: 2011 BMW sDrive 35iS from a BMW Dealer here in the UK in Boston,

Absolutely love the car, Hard to keep away from driving It and spending wallet loads on the fuel. The Sound of the Exhaust crackling in 1st/2nd/3rd Gear is amazing. Has the Old School Launch Control on it as well which is great! Managed to get her 35K Miles on the clock as well so very low mileage for It's age.

I'm loving the car and Test Drove a couple of different versions before I made my choice but I'm so glad I went for the 35iS!

Welcome to the forum OP - nothing like going straight to the top of the range!

Sorry I can't help with your question though.

But don't forget we like to see photos of members' cars on here. :)

Thanks Mr Tidy,

Will be on here more often now as I can see more active members on here too!

Added some Photo's! I've only driven her for 2 Days before I'm now away on holiday for 10 Days, When I'm back I'm getting her properly detailed and getting rid of the grime and dirt trapped between the Folding Hard top which looks like It was never cleaned in It's lifetime!

This beauty only has 35K Miles on it and for an 11 Plate I was very pleased with it! Had Professional Media & Adaptive Headlights which are amazing! :D

Welcome to the club, nice colour, she looks a bewt  Sorry, I can't help in your quest with the mats :( Since I've owned mine, I've always wondered what would happen if one of the mats got damaged. Have you tried a main dealer?

Thanks for the photos Mark - your car looks stunning.

I hope you can find a solution to your mat problem.

I wonder if sport clothing shops that embroider logos can do the same to a thicker carpet.
Some times they have a data base of all sorts of logos.
Only time i have ever seen those mats was a pair on ebay.

Actually looking at that video again i can see the logo is on a separate piece of material attached to carpet.

Morning, OP. Don't eat your heart out over the mats. I have them in my 35is and, apart from their good Velcro, they're nothing special.

There are plenty of after-market suppliers who'll make/sell you a good/better set.

Welcome to the forum, lovely looking car in the best colour...blue. It's a no brainer really, just call the dealer where the car came from and point out the problem. They should get you a new set of mats
I would be more worried about the silly aerial that's been fitted, get a whippy  .

In my limited experience, I've always found OEM mats to be better than aftermarket! The aftermarket ones I've ever bought have been thin and 'cardboardy' whereas the OEM ones are plush and comfy. Obviously it's very subjective :)

Thanks everyone for your replies, suggestions & Kind words! Appreciate it!

I've never been a fan of Aftermarket Mat's, I always like to go OEM on everything I'd buy, I liked the idea of getting them made up embroidering the Logo's and duplicating the other mat of course. But Question is finding a good place that could do It for me down here in Surrey,

Main Dealer doesn't stock the specific 35iS Mat's only the standard non branded BMW Z4 Velour Mats sadly :(

I'm thinking my only chance Is to keep an eye on eBay or anyone privately that maybe be selling the Mat's spare of course! If anyone has the Drivers side Mat then let me know! :D

My local dealers (Sytner) got me a pair of 35is mats just over a year ago and at that time there was plenty of stock available. The part number is B51.47.7.267.572, £56.67 plus VAT. Even if the supply at BMW's UK warehouse has run out they must still be available on back order from Germany.

Ah fantastic, Thank you very much for this I will try my local and see If these can be sourced!

Cheers!

Managed to get a Brand New Set of mats ordered direct from BMW last set in country apparently! Should be here in the morning!

On side a note... I’ve started to notice my car is taking a long time to start up when cold or when not left for a couple hours at a time. The initial start up is taking a while. Once it’s running it’s perfectly fine. And you can stop and start it and it fires up straight away.

I’m starting to feel a bit concerned...

Ive got BMW velour mats and then managed to pick up a set of brand new genuine BMW e89 rubber mats, far more practical especially in wet weather and easy to maintain
