My first service

Hi, im getting my first service done at the weekend, the car has been serviced twice before but this is my first service since i have owned the car. My question is what is the usual price for such a service (oil service) on a z4, i know everyone's price is going to be different but i just want to see the average price. I won't be getting it done by BMW either, i'l be getting it done by my local family mechanic...

hard one to tell, as it's not a proper dealer.. the oil would be about £80 wouldn't it? or more.. So maybe £120? Guessing that's about e135 at the moment..

You're really best of to check with the guy, then check against the dealer to make sure you're happy he's cheaper :)
 
Ok cool, thanks, what else is needed for an Oil Service... filters etc (cost), thanks again guys
 
I had an oil service and brake fluid change at BM Care for £170

They also repaired my bent exhaust shield and did a general health check/inspection

Sandalh quoted "roughly" £300 for a similar job. (Not including the exhaust shield repair)

I paid about £180 for an Oil Service in August before I got shot of the Z4 at the end of October.
