I have got an annoying rattle that appears to come from the passenger side (Left hand side) A pillar trim when going over bumps, does anyone else have similar or know a cure?
Lots of people have had these annoying little rattles and noises, but I've never had one. There could be so many possible problems. Have you had it in your stealership for a top adjustment? Sometimes it's an easy fix and sometimes not. I'm sure there'll be someone along soon that can offer you their experiences
one squeak/rattle I found wa the passenger side seat being too far back and was rattling against the plastic behind. Might be worth a check, as sometimes rattles can be hard to judge the location.
I have yet to take to it the dealership for the roof to be adjusted, is it normal to get some wind noise around the middle of the roof at speeds >60mph?
I'll have to do some more investigative work and will update the thread

Look to see if the dash is seperated from the a pillar. If it is it needs to be replaced. Had that on mine and they replaced under warranty. There is a lip on bottom of a pillar that locks into the dash. The tech had no idea why or how it broke. Hope this helps.
Just been out the the cold and dark with my torch. The may be a little bit more flex in the A pillar trim than the drivers side which does not rattle. I did notice that if you push down on top of the dash in the front corner near the screen a fixing would squeek (metal clips?). I also noticed that you could put you hand on the glove box and push up on the dash to make things fit more tightly and less prone to rattle, maybe it needs to be held up and the dash fixing tightened? (I'm not sure how the main dasg is held on!). One thing that could have disturbed the dash is when the 16:9 screen motor was replaced under warantee by the previous owner, maybe they had to take it all apart to reach this and in doing so weaken the fixings or failed to make it tight when reinstalling.
Sounds like a job for the local dealer to look at but worried they could make it worse
Look at bottom edge where it meets the dash. From what my tech told me there is a lip on the botton of the A Pillar which locks into the dash. There is screw by the sun vizor that holds the top of the a Pillar in. The dash does not have to come out. I have had both A Pillars replaced in this car and not a problem of rattles or anything.
That looks like the right part and yes it is plastic. Not sure about the flex. Mine had a gap of about 1/4" between A Pillar and dash. It was quite noticable. When I first noticed this I wasn't sure if it was normal or not. I checked with my buddies car and his fit tight.
