My first detailing effort...

She was washed, rinsed, clayed, washed again, rinsed and then polished with Autoglym SRP and then waxed with Turtle Wax Ice. 'Twas quite an effort but I'm happy with the result. Just got the interior to do next weekend!

How did you get on with the scratch on the bonnet?

Sadly the scratch didn't come out as well as I'd hoped. However, you now have to look for it so it's much better.

i wouldn't call that a detail as it's just a wash/polish/wax and no power tools were used, but a great job nonetheless :thumbsup:

Didn't realise that a 'Detailing' job required the use of power tools! I just thought it meant that you ended up with a sore back and a right arm the size of Popeye's.
