my f*c#%ng cup holder

Not that I would use it, but ,y driver's side holder will not eject. Crappy crap crap.

whats the quick fix on this? ANy? or just leave it.
 
hard to say, I would try and get a credit card and pry it out - maybe someone had a sticky drink in there before you bought it...

otherwise I believe you would need to remove the aircon vent, and you can get to it from there
 
you're lucky it's only stuck, my brother tried to put a very heave drink on my drivers side one and snapped the adjuster arm clean off. :evil:
When he finally woke up I told him he owed me £90.
 
They are pretty flimsy things - sounds like you'll be needing a replacement but you might be lucky. The bottom arm of mine broke and stopped it from being pulled in or out. I'd left it partially out so I could get to the screws to replace it but before then a friend got in and asked "why is this sticking out"... and shoved it back in. doh.
 
Can you not slide the face plate off? Can't remember what direction it goes off the top of my head.

Its like its wedged into the dash. There is no movement at all.

I don't really need it, but I like my cars to be wholly functional. :headbang:
 
I had this same issue until I pried the plate off only to realize that I didn't have cup holders in my 3.0. (Well, it was still an issue, but at least it was easily explained.)

Very nearly did the same ... None here either, I was going to fit some but with all these tales of them breaking and costing so much I think I'll do without...

It annoyed me because there is no other place to put a drink. I had one installed on the driver side during my last service.
