Just got myself an E36 M3 Evo.
The plan is to slowly turn her in to a bit of a Track Car....

nice ! ive always thought if i could choose a track car it would be one of these. Didnt EVO Magazine have one of these a while back, a green one?

Out of interest, how does it drive / compare to the z4?
 
It drives well with much more power on demand than the 3.0. It is high rev power however which is fun.
Springs are all upgraded so corners well. I still have not given it a complete spanking, possibly tomorrow.
Can't wait to get it on the track.
 
got to go back to work for a few months now so it is all packed up in the garage (now complete with new door).
saving up for a roll cage now..

Thanks for the comments, I have to admit that the GTI is not mine, I just stuck my plate on to wind-up the owner. I'm babysitting it :)
 
Never mind the cars if my good lady saw that garage my life would be hell, can't move move in mine for highly desirable collectable junk that will come in handy one day.
What sort of hooks/hangers are you using for the wheels?
 
:D I have a strict rule about what goes in my garage.
The shelving units will be replaced with cupboards soon and I want to get a nice all round clean look.
The hooks are off eBay, took me some time to find good ones. They work well as the wheels are 255's and 245's with winter tyres. Bong screws in to raw-plugs.
