My Evo 9

Hi all,

I thought i'd show you my 9 GT before i sell her. She's running around 620bhp and 580Ibft torque. An immense amount of work has gone in to getting her to this level of tune, and by far is the fastest car i've ever driven. Will be sad to see her go to a new owner, but i just don't have the time to run her and its an expensive car to just sit on the drive :(

Lovely - intrigued as to what you're going to do to your ///M now :D

Oooof very nice

Very single focus cars Evos etc. On track they are huge fun :D

In all honesty i would be worried what 620bhp would do to me, i'de be shouting and screaming at the next old biddy in a micra who even dared to get in my way

A very nice motor Steve

Few Q's as I'm intrigued - What is the power band like? When does the turbo spool up? And lastly, what was the base model you started with?

620bhp is a fairly massive hike! A credit to you

Thanks for the replies peeps :) The power is quite savage when it comes in, the car shows boost (anything past atmosphere) at around 2000rpm, and turbo's in fully at 4000, but the time between those is a split second as it spools very well. Power is strong throughout the rev range then. It still is a 9 GT, an import model from Japan, no AYC and slightly lighter than most models, but has the luxuries and gearbox for a road car.

Don't we all do that anyway with only 200+hp? :)

Obviously you don't buy and tune an evo if you care about fuel economy, but out of interest how many gallons to the mile did it take? Was a beautiful colour, great looking car.

Followed your wip thread on MLR, my dream spec evo and more, every credit to you (and it's previous owners) amazing car. You don't want to know how tempted I am to raid the savings account

Best of luck with the sale, can't wait to see what you do to an M

That is a stunning car. Always amazed at the BHP you can get from these things.Great colour too,I bet you're gutted to sell.
