So I've taken your advice and booked a Premier Inn at eureka park Ashford. Looks a good location for a quick bite to eat then about half an hour to the ferry in the morning.
Just come back from my Germany trip.

Dover is a right mess. Single lane all the way from the end of the motorway to the port.

The last part of the motorway is not much better either, as they've got a 'traffic smoothing trial' in place which means a 40mph average speed camera zone for the last 5 miles.

Best place in the north west for a 4 wheel alignment?

Im traveling over to Blackburn on Wednesday but I'm based in Blackpool. Also how much should I expect to pay?

Car booked in for a few bits on Wednesday with Graham Martin Automotive, going to get it all checked out before the BIG trip. :driving:

The zed is back with a clean bill of health and is ready to rock and roll.

The only question that keeps coming up is does the RPI system stay on :headbang:

Today's the day, setting off this morning and making our way to Ashford for our over night stop.

Very excited and surprisingly organised.

760km drive to the villa today. Just gone 8am ands it's over 20oC.

My face is burnt from the drive yesterday, lesson learned... Factor 2.4 million for the drive today.

The B&B we stayed in Vierzon was amazing, only 2 room and run by a lovely family.

You must have got the only nice place in vierzon , it's a commercial stopover shithole , I was stranded there for 3 nights and the stand out features were an English themed pub , think weather spoons , a half decent pizza restaurant and a brothel complete with a red light and line of trucks parked down the street ! I'm guessing you weren't town centre  We moved to the small town up the road , salbris , that was delightful , I think you got lucky !
Good luck with the rest of your trip .

Hope you have a fantastic trip. Stay safe and have fun. Im just back from my own european road trip. 3200 miles from Scotland through Holland, Germany, Austria, Italy, France and then home via the chunnel. Its was awsome. Managed the Stelvio pass en route. Well worth the time to drive if your heading that way.
