My E86 White Coupe Story Thread...

It's been a while since I have added any updates/pictures to this thread, so with the weather eventually starting to show signs of improvement I decided to crack on with a few little cleaning jobs that required doing.

(Nothing spectacular, but anyways here is what was done)

- Fresh coat of paint on the brake callipers and hubs.
- Give the wheels a good clean and protect.
- Clean the door shuts.

There wasn't much difference after I painted the callipers so didn't bother with any pictures, they just generally look fresher.

It's been around 6-7 months since the wheels were removed and cleaned on the inside, so was expecting them to be fairly dirty (More so the front as can't get in to wash them very well during the weekly wash) however, they didn't seem that bad:

(After: Cleaned with Dodo Juice mellow yellow wheel cleaner then sealed with Poorboys Wheel Sealant):

My battery was flat on my SLR camera, so the iPhone had to do. Next is a full body polish and wax in the next coming weeks....
:driving:

Some sweet touches Dale makes this a class coupe anyone would be happy to own
Id still try some spacers with the 108s tho

Cheers for the positive comments

Spacers are next on my list, I got a hold of some 20mm ones last September time for the rear, but it didn't look right IMO, maybes because I didn't space the front out to match?
This time around I am planning on 12mm fronts and 15mm rears.

Sorry to be late to this, I'm new here - but that black roof looks so so nice on the white Coupe.

Love it!

Spring is finally here :) to which the zed was due a polish and wax, since not being done since last year. Pictures are nothing special but everyone likes to see pics posted on the forum.

I have fancied carbon wing mirrors for the past 6 months or so to match the carbon rear spoiler, the originals were painted black and were chipped and generally not up to standard, perfect excuse to purchase some carbon replacements. They were purchased from Tekarbon, I must say the workman ship is great, well pleased.

Anyways a few pics, nothing special........

The more important question being... Is that a White E30 in front of your car?
It sure is, it's not mine unfortunately. 1990 318IS, 16 Valve 136bhp. It was featured in Total BMW Magazine a number of years ago. It only gets put on the road 6 months of the year these days.

UPDATE: Bimecc 15mm & 12mm Spacers.

Spacers have been on my list for a while now, I sourced some 20mm ones for the rear earlier last year and IMO (As previously mentioned) I didn't think it looked right.

This time I opted for: 15mm rear and 12mm for the fronts, with extended locking bolts in the set.

Wish I had gone for this set up earlier, looks just right IMO.
