Today I’ve been refurbishing a set of cheap but very rough 18” staggered LM reps. They fit perfectly and are now the same same shade of paint that I had done the originals in. I think I just makes the car look a bit more tough! The standards looked nice but a bit “pretty”


In other news I’ve this week bought an Impreza that I previously owned from a mate! The garage is now in the two car set up and officially full

I still cant decide if 18" is too small for LM's

I had a set on an e46 a couple years ago and was on the limit at the rear where they just looked too small for the arch.

The z4 despite being a smaller car has an even bigger rear arch.

19's look ideal but I wanna stay on 18s

For sure 19” LM look a lot better. I think the 18” look nice though. Not wow but nice! My argument for my decision is.......,these were £220 with tyres and do the job of looking a bit better than the Daisies
As much as I love this little Z, it is a cheap car and I want to enjoy that fact. So far the wheels, stainless exhaust and intake have cost me less than £500.
I’m guilty of barely using cars sometimes as I’m worried about spoiling them, this Z will do some very long road trips next year, I want to be totally relaxed about stone chips, scuffed wheels etc

Yes it’s a bit black isn’t it! I have thought about returning the wheels to the original gold rather than graphite but can’t decide.
