My E36, a 1996 328is automatic. In the past, this car was sensitive and temperamental, but all is well now. And the story about this car was that just about several years ago, it started and evolved into a “project” car. Furthermore, the “modding” of the car was a very entertaining hobby that my son and I got involved with.

The exterior was retro-fitted with new OEM parts to the appearance of an OEM M3. The interior was also customized and redone. My wife wants for me to sell it, but we shall wait and see. All in all, if I decide to keep the car, it will be stripped, parted out, re-built and equipped with a roll cage and with much stiffer suspension system, and made ready for the track… :driving:

Nonetheless, here are some pictures that “I” (not my son), took recently… :D

He was on hand with some pointers, I'll bet. ;) Even if he wasn't - nice pictures, the car looks fantastic. Named for Vlad the Impaler, I take it?

LOL, never crossed my mind…Count Vlad Tepis of Transylvannia, the real Dracula. I have visited his hometown of Bran and toured his castle up in the Romanian mountains. It was a very interesting tour....

About the plate, I picked it up from my wife’s cousin, and according to what he told me, the first 2-3 letters indicate the various cities, towns or territories that are within there country. In this case, the “V L”, indicates – Vulcanesti, a “G” or “GE” , would be Gaguzia, and a "CH" would be for Chisinau, etc. etc..

I like the plate, especially with the gold ox head….

Great job. I wish I had the time and energy to do that. I did similar years ago with an old MG. I sold it like a fool and my family has never forgiven me. :( I hope you keep it, but if you want to sell, let me be the first to offer you $5K, American cash money. I’ll fly down and drive it home. :) :poke: :poke:
