My coupe restoration!

Well done. I'd swap the gaitors and pads for black ones though. That handbrake pic looks like a dogs dick with the end poking out lmfao

Long day, easily amused?

Looks great with the cream and black contrast - well done!

What was the process in dying the plastic?

With a black carpet it would look even better. I do link the contrast of the black against the leather though.

I just spray painted it all...not sure on how durable it is though....tempted to clear lacquer it all ( if you can get a matt clear lacquer)

Took like 3 cans...I bought 10 lol.
Im pleased with it...I did the front kidneys in gloss black also and the steering trim in matt black

If theres a way to permenantly dye the plastic id be up for that

Halfrauds have matt lacquer. I'm sure it states can be applied over gloss to make it matt. I'm going to try it this weekend on the bat-bike

Solvent cleaner followed by leather cleaner followed by leather conditioner followed by painting on the paint in whatever manner you like....I did mine via spraying but ran out of aerosols to use so sponged the rest on using the sponge youd use to wash the dishes lol.
If I were to do it again id definitely buy a spray machine for like 30 or 40quid.

To cover scuffs just buy a small one and apply with a sponge though...they provide one in the scuffmaster touch up kit

all clean and shiny
also fitted piano black finishers trim inside.

Can i ask what ££ you are at ?
Bearing in mind your's was possibly THE cheapest Zc ive ever come across it looks fantastic & worth the time, effort & ££ you have put in

Carbon fibre to ruin my current trim - £100
leather dye - £100
piano trim to replace my ruined trim - £90
CSL +falken 452s - £375
spray paint -£60
door cards - £80

think thats about it.

Ofcourse my old door cards can be sold and I can fix the trim I ruined with the carbon fibre and epoxy then sell that also.

also spent like £300 on cleaning stuff but that can't apply directly to the car as i'll have that stuff for a long time.

So no major mechanical / service spend ?
What miles are you at now ?
My coupe sold recently had 93k on & looked/drove like half that  looked after BMW's can be a great buy on the higher miles

1. mezerner's finishing polish + a DA polisher
2. supaguard polish applied by hand and buffed off by hand
3. Simoniz original car wax I believe.
