My car saga continues....

Also you could join the Jag owners club
You trying to tell me something, Mikey?
I am currently researching herringbone tweed jackets with leather elbow patches, just in case (oh and pipes)! :D

We have umbrellas in Porsche doors, I guess in Jaguars they have walking sticks in there

Folding chairs mate. Somewhere to sit while the AA man does his stuff! :D

I nearly bought a similar one but bought the Z4 instead.
I'd still have a MK2 Jag, just love the look and remember the one my dad had when I was a kid.

Nice

I think I've found a better one! Last of the XK8, so run-out ltd edition 'white badge S' spec. Lower miles and better MOT history. A bit more money ATM but waiting for the seller to give me more info.

This is exciting stuff!!! The link to the silver Jag is lovely. My only nit-pick is the large overhang at the rear (which Jaguar lopped off on the F-Type) look forward to seeing the new option

Gone off the XK8 idea TBH. They are all rust buckets, even the supposedly 'pristine' ones.
Going back to the German idea again. I looked at these last year and keep coming back to this

Quite fancy a CL500 but they are huge; in size and running costs

I’m sure Mr Tourette’s runs an E class as a daily.

Re the running costs of the CL, that shouldn’t matter to you as you never drive them or keep them long enough :poke: only issue could be resale

He could aways shock us and buy his FIRST Z4
That was below the belt Mr McD. I did buy the Z4. I mend it, service it, wash it and even pay for the fuel. I just don't OWN it!

Time to own one then, Pondrew. All essential boxes ticked and you get the benefit of this forum as card carrying Z head.
Forget the alternatives. You’re dancing around the solution.

And you wanted to ban me even though I already had two and was a short while in between before getting my third one :poke:
