My bushes need replacing!

Just took my car for a wheel alignment after lowering it on eibachs and they said it wasn't worth doing before replacing the front wishbone bushes and rear trailing arm bushes.

The guy recommended 'super pro' bushes and said he could fit them and do a wheel alignment for 296 quid all in. Seems a decent price.

Are there any other bushes out there that won't crumble away like the standard ones?

They checked everything for free which was nice of them. Great customer service and they know their stuff.

Just priced up the bushes on ebay.

Wishbones - £118.80
Trailing arms- £82.73

Might be best getting them to do it then!

It's a sign of these cars ages I guess, many 10 years old now, no doubt driven a bit enthusiastically over the years too! I need to get mine checked, don't much fancy a £300 bill though  I bet shocks will be next up.....

Yeah, not good, only just spent 350 on 2 rear tyres and 110 on those eibachs :(

Had a look at powerflex and I think for the cost, it's not worth me (my dad) doing them. Seems to much effort.

Think i'll leave it to the professionals
