My Angel Eyes Journey

Pretty much you just uplug the olds ones and they plug into the looms on the new headlights. Had to wire up the Angel eyes tho decided to connect them to the side lights. It has a third light along the top like a strip but ive unscrewed that but had to leave the bulb in and taped over the hole. I'm lucky my Dad did most of it

Let me know if they do please as im getting black ones in 3 weeks time
I doubt you'll be dissappointed mate! No frost but will let you know if they do can't see it tho!

I saw them Sunday in the flesh and the do look the business.

I wonder if the black ones will help contrast the Angel Eyes better, giving a clearer ring than the chrome, which bounces around a bit, masking the definition ??

Great job though Dan

I have no idea on wiring, i want the top LED and angels as daylight running then dipped beam on as well for night runnings :?
You only have the two angels and a led between them to wire in I found somewhere on the forum how to do that.

Have got the black ones from 2excite too. No misting on mine but guess if you did get some could reseal them with some silicone? Just one point to whoever buys them they have inbuilt motors/steppers so if they stop working you'll have to find a way to replace/fix them or buy a whole new headlight. Otherwise all plug and play and look great...

I hope so bud as mine are doin my head in steaming up and ive resealed them SEVEN times :headbang:

What are you using to seal them? It needs to be silicone sealant, like the stuff you go around shower enclosures with, but clear instead of white.

I used an evo stick one I bought from screwfix and had no problems after I got all the moisture out of them.

 perseverence johnny!

Have you asked how lukes have been? I'll try and get a pic of mine to show you just how much silicone they need on (lots).

Just started my light headlight journey too (no AE as not a fan)

Took about an hour to cut one open and replace the clear stick and re-glue :)

Just waiting for the PU adhesive to dry (ie cable ties)

Hi

Just ordered these myself, I emailed my concerns RE misting and she advised that they have had 0.001% of units returned for misting and on those occasions new units have been sent out!. Woops just ordered black version!

Looking at buying these this weekend after you responses last weekend to my thread. Just two quick questions - the third light along the top, can you give a insight to what this is as it is not shown in the ebay advert. Also from connecting in to the side lights, have there been any problems with warning lights and how does it look with the Halos on with side lights?
