Its been a while since I posted.
I have begun doing some research on modifications - I am a bit too keen on the old mods, so holding off over the last four months has been tough.
Firstly, my Zed turned over 4000 miles at the weekend, and I have loved every minute, only slight issue is the strange - electrical whine sound - from what sounds like the middle of the dash - only when accelerating. But a google search highlights that thats quite common.
Secondly, remapping, I have mapped plenty of cars before. This one will be no exception, I have contacted a number of company's and I will either go with TMC - anyone have any experience - tuning boxes, giving 249 hp and 360NM of torque, this will be good for warranty purposes - plug and play
Alternatively, eco tune, here in Scotland offer a remap service, pushing the 2.0 to almost 260hp and 380NM of torque, with the addition of sports cats we can get that to 280 hp and a further - unknown - gain in torque.
Both quite impressive
Anyway, what are the forums thoughts on each of the options?
Finally, has anyone any experience of full exhaust systems? Performance Gains etc?
