First off, let me compliment because your car is beautiful!!!!

Since you posted pix of your seats, I have a quesiton: does the passenger seat comes with the occupancy sensor? If not, how did they bypass it to keep the SRS light off?

A occupancy sensor has been installed in the passenger seat. There was still a problem with the airbag light yesterday which can hopefully be fixed on time.

Is it an actual pad under the seat that sense when someone is sitted? Or a device that simulates the occupancy (it makes the computer think there is alsways someone sitting regardless)?

It's the actual pad. Here's the part number: http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do?model=BT51&mospid=47797&btnr=65_1221&hg=65&fg=65

Just found this thread! All i can say is WOW WOW WOW great job make mine look a bit sad now. :D
Q Do they make a Alpina Z4 coupe?

Excellent work Femme, now all you have to do is drive the hell out of it until you break something. That's how I decide what my next mod or upgrade should be! Love the seats by the way, I may break my own rule and fit them next, my seats are fine but I'm fed up sliding into the centre consol when I take high G right hand bends!

That car is beautiful!!
If only I was still in high school...you could have let me borrow it for prom! hahaha.....

beautifully done, perhaps you could post a video of the car in action? I bet it is like having an entirely new auto. congrats on a terrific job and your new baby!

Do you have plans to add the aero side skirts?

Thanks :) . Yes, I will add the aero side skirts too.[/quote]

Does anyone know where you would source the aero-kit for a 2007 roadster in the UK??

P.S. Car looks well mint!!!

Aero kit is a standard BMW dealer thing and you can usualy order the parts pre painted as I did with my side skirts.

Cheers, found it on www.bmwmstyle.co.uk , thought £969 wasnt a bad price, anyone know of any cheaper?

How do you swap the taillights to those new ones? Any modification in wiring and how about the bumper? :?

i have done the same mate is not big deal your dealer it will doi it for you the bumper is straight forward the tail light it has some job but nothing big in order to work properly you have to change the control module also

What kind of control module and where to get it? I really love the new taillights but mine is a 2004 model. Any info would be greatly appreciated :)

I'm sure Femme can jump in and correct but from my understanding on the subject the change of rear lights is not an easy one.

Firstly the rear bumper profile is different so you would need to source and fit a new one. It shoudl be a straight bolt on replacement. Some have talked of reshaping the existing but I've not seen one done

The lights are very different in operation and will need the LCM module reprogramming or most likely replacing. It's located behind and integral to the light switch on the dash. In the UK IIRC they cost around £225.

Programming I have no idea. Certainly BMW could do it, if they would as it's outside of normal spec and no doubt specialist can.
