Hi guys, thought I would share how I fixed my third brake light. Mine was rattling for a month before it decided to almost fall out. I wasn't keen on paying BMW the extortionate charge for a poorly designed bit of plastic and metal!
Broken clips - the root of the problem
Turns out zip ties fit perfectly!
The old adhesive was removed and replaced with 3M VHB:
