Any news on the Exhaust Tips folks? Where from and how you fit them?

So these are what I went for keeping inline with my red and carbon theme...

This size is perfect for 35is exhaust, need to order 2! Take a couple of weeks to ship.

You can get different designs, sizes, with or without logo and matte or gloss finish.

I've had them on for a while now with no issues.

No screws or drilling, I used heat resistant glue to install 4 heat resistant rubber strips on the inside of the tips, waited 24hours to dry. then slid the tips on the the exhaust, it required a little bit of force to slide them on, but they are not going anywhere and they do no rattle, there is no movement. If you are worried about the rubber melting onto the exhaust, you can wrap a sheet of foil around your exhaust before sliding on the tips. I hope this little write up helps.

Look like quality tips but they stick out way too far for me :(
Having my 35is tips replaced tomorrow & i won't be happy if they are that far out from the bumper

Thanks. There is space to slide them further on, I wanted to show the logo as I like how the red matches with my paint job. For around £30 I am pretty happy. Please do share your tips once done.

Will do , 96mm slash cut polished are what's ordered

What a great read/ view thread...I read the 1st 2 pages then jumped straight to the end as I couldn't wait to see how it turned out so far...Will read the rest during "Me time" later... I can't wait to get my 35iS, Red is the best colour IMO, doubt if I will find one however.

Job done :) the Oe tips really are a letdown for the flagship model.
Gone for slashcut twisted to the side mirroring the way the original tips sit but upsized considerably so now actually fit the aperture

How / where did you get those? Nice improvement. I had Machine Monkey tips on my E86, wish something similar existed for the E89.

@red_35is What are those rubber things you used inside the CF tips and what glue did you use please? Going to order these tips. Thanks for the updates!

@Mr Wilks, agreed. For the flagship model of the range the exhaust tips are naff. What the heck were they thinking?!

Strip rubber 40mm wide and 2mm thick

Small mod this weekend...

The black rubber texture paint around the start button started to bubble and peel off, so I picked it all off...

Then I ordered this for £3...

do you have a link to the start/stop button surround? I can find plenty of //M ones, but I prefer the silver one you have..
