With the unexpected arrival of my new car then I'm gonna have to part with old zed.
It's a 3.0i 03 plate
The mileage is 105400, it's got full service history, the next one is inspection 2 which is due in 9000 miles.
Mot'd till October
Xenon lights
Wind deflector
Black leather heated seats
10 speaker stereo with aux
Rear parking sensors
Mfsw (retrimmed by royal)
zhp gear knob
Elec folding mirrors
Clear side indicators
Clear spot rear quad lights
Stainless Quad exhaust (pipe from back box)
18" black csl replica alloys. (Unmarked)
Rear brakes fitted 5k ago (pads & mtec disks)
Front brakes fitted 3k ago (april)
Mayle front suspension arms & wishbones (April)
Front bumper was resprayed in April. (No stone chips)

The only negative I can think off is that the buttons on the steering wheel have stopped working, still light up.
Prob just a loose wire. :headbang:

It's been a great car, never missed a beat, big pile of receipts of work done. It's always commented on by people. With a private plate on this car looks 1/2 it's age.
I'm based in Carlisle, 5 mins from the train station.
Car is priced at £4500 to forum members.
Now on eBay

Bump!

Not even had one message, not even a time waster!!!
Car is now on eBay
Price reduced for forum members
£4500

Cheap 3.0 with nice alloys & back box conversion , can't see why that won't go mate & very possible if you risked auction on ebay you'd beat £4500

Great car and very tempted to downsize my SLK until I have the means to buy something better. My car is dropping money so yours would be ideal. Just need to try a manual with my shoulder probs

I'll PM you

Can the front lights be de gingered easily?

Lots of threads on here about de-gingering. I wasn't planning on selling the car this year (hence the work done in April) so never got round to it.
Just pm me any questions.

man this is tempting. really wanted an SI but this is reallllly tempting. will have a think!

is the SI engine significantly different to the non-SI?

Yea its silly money imo for a tasty 3.0 with a few nice extras , it looks in fine fettle , miles aren't silly & that quad conversion looks soooooo right & thats a £400/£500 job

is the SI engine much different this one? I know its quicker but in terms of the way it delivers power, is it quite different?

Very different, but I would say it's bullet proof which the N52 isn't.

Sorry mate. Which one are you saying is bullet proof? And y do u think it is?

The 3.0i with the M54 engine is regarded as bullet proof.

TBH if I was in the market for a 3.0i I would happily take a pre facelift car. The engine as said, plus you have more tuning options and it's easier to work on. The valvetronic engine on the N52 is not for your average DIYer.

not that i'm disagreeing with you that the m54 is bulletproof (i've had about 16 in total now) but i'm currently in the market for another n52 2.5si or 3.0si - i havent seen anything on the net about the valvetronic being an issue on the n52? I know the n53 is pretty diabolical in terms of reliablilty, however i've not seen any threads on the n52 being un-relaible aside the sticky tappets?

Sorry for thread crapping OP!

The eBay listing finishes on Sunday night, it's up to £3000 at the moment, 22 watchers.
I'm really hoping a forum member buys it as I'd hate to see someone buy it and not look after it the way we do.
