Give me a call when you are parting out your coupe. I want those seats!
Because both you and me know that your coupe is up for sale again long before mine is

Haha
No Stig, this is a keeper :D
I will change my other car for sure, but this one, No :P

What are the seats?

They are Recaro Pole Positons retrimmed in Alcantara/Nappaleather. Diamond stitched and Ferrari center stripe :) They also have custom Bmw embrodery and custom seat bolster...

Is there any particular reason you went with the pole position seats instead of the sportster CS?
In your last car you had the BMW performance seats which are almost identical to the sportster CS.

I could have bought me the Performance seats again! But they are a bit to wide for me, I do not sit perfect in them... I also hope to get a lower sit position with the Pole positions...

lets not forget the sportster aren't far off the stock seat weight....

for a seat swap to be worth while, the seat needs to hold you much more, but much more importantly its an easy way to shed some of the KGs. The stock seats are like 35kg , so if you can get something under 10 for each side your really making a difference to the car dynamics!

pole positions is a much better choice for the car, did you mod the outer shoulder? this part touches the door card on the z4 platform.

That is true Beedub, the weight savings is significantly :)
Actually, I have done my homework. They have removed 10mm from the shoulder area...

any news on how the seats are going??

should be a nice and simple bolt in if you have the VAC or similar floor mounts :-)

Sorry late reply, but I'm still waiting for bolt on floor mount from e46.. Think they will arrive this week. I have to mount them as low as possible. I'm 197cm tall guy, so this is important to me :P

Have spended quite some time covering my interior in alcantara last few days:)

Center console, lower part of dash and doorsills is done.

Did also install new doorspeakers for Bavsound... A great upgrade and very easy install :)

Finally I glued my new custom center doorcards together with those oem nappa doorcards...

Still waiting for seat mountings, retrimmed steering wheel and painted interior trim.

Some shitty phonepics and actually impossible to see that the stitching is red :(

Such an inspiring and creative thread. What a car!? Do u think sometimes u wish ud started with an ///m :poke:
But seriously I know I probably shouldn't ask but what do you think the final bill will come out after purchase and mods.
Thank you for letting us all see your hard work. Keep it up dude!

Thank you sir :)
I should have started with an M, but it was never my plan doing that much mods to it...
When that said, there is a couple of goodies 3.0si vs M. Its a lot lighter and you get a chance upgrading to M parts :P

I don't no what the final bill will be like, but I'm past buying a UK Z4M Coupe just in mods on my Si

But its too much fun modding, thinking out new touches that gives it the Individual look :D

Good on you Per.

Coming along nicely.

I'm all for doing things differently but you have given me some inspiration.
Well done
