This will look stunnig in the end. Especially if you combine the look with black wheels and lambo orange calipers,

Hi. Should look amazing when done. Grey was the other colour I was considering when painting mine. Reckon it should show the lines of the Z really well. Nice to have something more individual.

Love that colour... Reminds me of femmeT's supercharged alpina...

Going to be a seriously awesome motor when complete.

I think it will look great. That colour of yours is really nice. Like the M3 style exhaust also

Thanks, femmeT's Alpina was also an Lamborghini colour. But the colour is kind of different. Mine looks like a non metallic paint :D

Nice brakes
I have exactly the same set in the front.
I also adapted the phoenix yellow rear bmw performance calipers to match te rear.

I have a set of those on my car, and also made the rear calipers fit.

Front:

Rear:

Rear was a lot of work to make fit.
The front was a plug&play kit (ecs tuning), for the rear getting a larger diameter disc fit with parking brake&all is difficult.
But it works like a charm now.

I know

Really great work to make them work at the rear as well.

I will paint mine red, so they match my interior :D

are you going to powerdercoat them?

If you're going to paint them anyway you can decide if you want to keep the added weights on the calipers (the square blocks on top and bottom on the front calipers).

They're there (probably) to stop the caliper from juddering or so, so a balance or resonance feature.

But I don't know if they're necessary. Ive seen them on some ferraris and other cars too, but most do without.

The contact surface between the caliper and added weight is not painted, so you have to decide before you paint.

You could also go for blue, that seems (somewhat) the current bmw brake caliper colour now. (although I saw phoenix yellow (or golden) calipers on a new M4 with optional ceramic brake kit last week in bmw welt in munich)

Those new bmw carbon ceramic brakes would also make a great upgrade...
have some fun and look up the prices of the seperate parts

No, I don't want to powdercoat them. They getting a better finish with normal proffesional respray.

I did not know that they where possible to remove :!:

Maby I have to try without. Save some weight and possibly a nicer look :D

Thanks for info
