My 2003 Z4 plays MP3's....headunit and changer

I just picked the car up today. Love it!

I was messing about and put a burned cd into the headunit and it played perfect! Then I loaded the 6 stacker cd and they all played.

Am I being dense here?

Dark grey mate. The car is completely standard, could it be due to the carver system? Eitherway I'm happy!

Are you sure you haven't just burnt an audio CD using media player and MP3 on your hard drive or something?

Hi guys. The unit works with burned mp3's and SOME actual mp3 disks. Not all though....go figure...maybe like 1 out of every five.

I've the carver system and have tried about 10 differently burnt mp3 cds.. and none of them read :/
(tried different media, different burn speeds, different bitrates, etc).

Can you take a piccie of your headunit?

I'm using Ritek and Philips. I'm burning using Nero..

I'll get a picture in half an hour.

The battery has gone flat on my E320 :x and the AA guy has just arrived!!!
