Welcome aboard, looks a nice clean example. And there's nothing wrong with basic...............sometimes they look the cleanest.
Any more details forthcoming?

Welcome to the form. And we all have to start somewhere in the obsessions' of BMW Zed owners. Remember we all crawled before we learned to walk in life. Great looking Car enjoy and am sure you will soon find yourself addicted to this form as you are hungry for as much information about our cars as we can get.

E89 20i SDrive M Sport - Valencia

There not to much to say other than she's at 120k, no leather (not even the steering wheel)

Intentions are to... in no particular order
Buff a few scratches out
Install cruise control (if plug exists on loom)
Upgrade to leather seats and wheel
Fix one damaged fog light
Sort condensation in drivers side headlamp (Mot not due for 11 months)
Look into Carly.

Other than that all seems to be working with no fault codes, Basic as I said but a lot of machine for sub 2K.

As has been said, we all have to start somewhere, and for an outlay below £2k you can't go wrong.
Look forward to seeing it evolve.
There's certainly plenty of ideas and available spares on this forum to keep you going for a while.

It does look nice and clean. Something as simple as a pipe of shiny exhaust tips will make a big difference.
Be warned that the stubby aerial brigade will be along soon, insisting you remove that fine piece of the automotive aerial makers art and replace it with an inadequate looking rubber stump. Don't bend to their will! Sport your whippy with pride. :D

No worries the whippy is staying. From what I've seen there is a 99% chance of it snapping upon removal.

Well mine's been off a few times when a cover has gone on, without any problems.
Possibly give it a try, if it looks like it'll undo then smear the thread with a little light oil or vaseline and put it back togehter.

Hi and welcome aboard.

I'm on BMW number 7 and 8 now - so you could say I'm addicted.

There's nothing wrong with a 2.2 - it is still a straight 6!

I think 2003 cars had pre-wiring for all the options, but even if you haven't forum member "srhutch" can make up the section of loom needed for cruise control fairly cheap.

There is a pair of black leather electric seats that have just been advertised for sale on here:- https://z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=125279

I don't know why, but I can't see your photos. :?

Anyway good luck working through your list.

Thanks for the reply. I have seen the seats you mentioned and they are a great price. So they are on my watch list.

Pics are on Google images, not sure why you can't see them. Will look into it 👍

Don't worry about 2.2, I did 220km/h easily in it (close to 140mph). Not as fast as 3.0 but it's still a good engine.
Hope to see pictures soon and like someone said, clean and stock is in my opinion always the best.

Hi [ref]sbryantgb[/ref], where did the pictures go?
I could see them all, right up to the point where [ref]Mr Tidy[/ref] said he couldn't, then they disappeared.
Shame as it's a great looking car.

I’ve not been able to see the pictures at all at any stage. All it says in the OP’s posts is IMAGE 2 or 3 times. I looked at the post about an hour after originally posted then agin late last night.

It seems to be browser specific. Chrome and Opera seem fine. But Epic and Brave show no images. However if you right click and open image in a new tab they show.

May also be device specific too, on my iPad it doesn’t give me the option to click on the word IMAGE. When I click on it all I get is the option to include in a quick quote not to open the image.

Me too

Well I have chrome on my laptop and I could originally see them but not any more.
Did you add them as files in the standard fashion?
