Wow, I'm gonna go look for one then :P

Wouldn't trust a guy who's just joined to sell this though :!:
Thanks for the vote of confidence! Since you do not know me I could take offence!
True I am a newbie here but I have been a Z club, 350Z-uk and Nissansportz club member for years and the plate was on my 350Z from the day I owned it to the day I sold it! It was suggested by a member at 350Z-UK that I try this site as the Z4 owners were a decent bunch!!
I also have over 100% positive feedback on E-Bay with over 160 transactions.
If there are any genuine queries on this sale I will gladly answer them besides how can you not trust a DVLA official document?

I'm not sure the not trusting someone who joins to sell is fair comment, but you will get tarred with the same brush as the many spammers who join to sell phones, Nigerian oil wealth etc., however it's not usual practice to join forums just to sell. That said this is potentially Zed related.

In terms of such plates this seems fair value if you happen to have an '06 plate where MY -- ZED seem to be £799+

Of course ther are hundreds of Zed plates from as little as £250

Perhaps it may have been worth including that in your original post then? :poke:

Indeedy! Sadly this one is at the lower end of the 'tasteful' bracket...I mean look at it logically (as I sadly do  )..

MY....well yes we assumed it was YOUR car......06....."look everyone, my cars four and a half years old!!"....ZED....ummm, isn't there a badge on the car that says that?...

....of course, having put everyone off now, I'll give you £25 for it

I'm with you on it and wouldn't put it on my car for free for the exact reason you state, but each to their own.

aware that it is not a commonly held view on here but i much prefer car related plates to initials.....and even worse attempts to disguise the age of a car using a private plate ..............best left for coach firms. but each to their own

but biased as i have a chavy ZZZ plate...

good luck with your sale

Just checked REGtransfers - BE57ZED @ £2445. :o

It was the only one that turned up with ZED.

DVLA don't have any with Z so where are all these cheap plates your talking about?

Will consider serious offers! Need the cash for mods to new motor! :D

On regtransfers.co.uk they have BO53ZED and BE57ZED bouth at £2445 At £300 MY06ZED looks a good price like it or not

I guess that a good price is one at which the plate sells. Over a month on a Zed forum tells me it's not liked enough by any 06 drivers to buy it.
No idea why anyone would dream of those Reg transfer prices on such ordinary 7 digit plates

The Reg Transfers (and other similar traders) simply put up whatever they think looks good.

If you call up and offer 50% of the advertised price they will go and ask the owner (not usually themselves) if they're willing to sell for less. If they are you get a 'bargain' as you've only paid £20k instead of £40k for SH17EAD or such.
