Hi everyone considering 8Jx19 ET: 37 MV 4 ‘s for my Z4 3.0 SE they are a square setup. Will they work and if so what tyre size would best. Getting very confused any help from you guys would be much appreciated

Firstly, welcome to the forum.
When you get a moment, a brief intro and a photo of your car in the newbie section would be greatly appreciated.

Not a lot of help I know, but I had a square set of 18" wheels with ET38 and they sat nicely in the arches.
How the extra diameter will affect rubbing I have no idea, but they won't protrude from the arch.

Here's some views of mine to give you an idea of offset at least. Plenty of arch clearance as it was standard SE ride height.

Standard BMW fitment for e85 on a 8J x 18 alloy is 225/40 R18, which would be a minimum width for me on a 8J alloy. You could go 235/40 R18 or 245/40 R18 (but with them sticking out a further 10.0 mm than standard might cause rubbing on the front) or even 225/40 R18 front and 245/35 R18 rear.

Standard alloys is 8J x 18 E47 square or front and 8.5J x 18 ET50 for the rear

I have a square set of MV2s with all seasons on them for use in the winter; 225/40/18s and car is fine with them even in bad weather. Those wheels had 235 rubber on then when I bought the car and they were fine at the front; 245 on the fronts would rub I reckon.

I have a set of 19 inch wheels on my 2003 3 litre, albeit staggered, with the fronts being 8.5J wide & 33ET on 235/35 tyres with absolutely no rubbing under load or on full lock.

You'll be absolutely fine :)
