Must See About Tires

Good find and I'm going to check all my tires.
I checked mine and all were fresh dated when I got them which was from Tirerack except for OEM tires and the dates on those were current as well at time of delivery...

The video is going with 6 years, I'm going to tell you if they are 5 years or older you are playing with fire. The manufactures dont want an experation date, but they stop warranty at 4 to 6 years depending on manufacturer. Go figure.
On a related note, just so you know. If you purchase used tires(even takeoffs) you have no warranty from the manufacturer. They only cover the original purchaser, on the vehicle they were purchased for. This is why so many reputable tire shops dont sell used tires. All responsibility goes back to the dealer that sold the used tire.

I went to check on all the dates and stuff on my tires.....but all the wood as worn out and nicked up on the rims.what should I do???????

zee42, good to see you back on. I did not get a chance to reply to your e-mail as I was away over the weekend and have been to lazy this evening to get on the other computer where I do my e-mail....
