So if you ladies and gentlemen don't already know, I bought my 1st Z4 today :driving: A 57 reg 2.5L SI with 215bhp (i dont know if thats stock) and 60k on the clock

Last services 9k miles ago and has a fully service history and has the 18" M sport alloys

What do you more experienced drives/Z owners do to your Z to improve drive and looks etc.

Any mods/upgrades you recommend?

Before you do any mods you need to find the 3 bhp you've lost

Stubby, ZHP and all black grill are cheap and top of the list.

My signature shows many others though.

Upgrade this thread from pictureless to picturefull.

Agree with srhutch's recommendations for cheap upgrades. Clutch delay valve removal can also be done for very little and makes the 1st to 2nd shift feel a lot more natural.

Not so cheap are non-runflat tyres (or RFTs that are much better than the factory Bridgestones), but they are probably the biggest improvement you can make to the stock car.

The ZHP knob is probably the one mod that makes the most difference. Really improves the feel.

Just noticed this thread and the zhp knob got me intrigued. What's so good about it? They seem to be fairly expensive on eBay.

Shorter throw and weighted knob equals quicker and slicker shifting. Plus it looks and feels good enough to bone. :titshake:
