Just booked the M in for the MOT, and noticed that I had only done 1600 miles since the last MOT. I had planned to do the Insp I now as I did an intermediate oil service last year, but might as well wait until next year now as I still have about 3k until the Insp is due (currently on 21k).

So ... that was 40p a mile on road tax alone then :D

Jeez I think I have covered more miles on foot in the past year than that, Still, Good for the resale value

PVR, a trip to the Lakes in July for the National Meet will get your miles up nicely! And CJ BBQs a mean sausage :)

Except that I am on holiday then :( first year I have not organised a foreign trip or participated in the annual Scotland one. Sure kept the miles down.

You could always get your annual break in Scotland by coming to the Applecross meet.

oh well just think how long you can keep it in brilliant condition. :D

but hey a m is for driving :driving:

even i do about 3500 mile a year didnt think thats enough :headbang:

1,200 miles in a year!! I'll cover that doing the lakes meet this year!

Waste of a good toy :poke: ;)

:o A trip down to Cornwall to visit your Z cousins in the SW will double that nicely. :D

When I bought my 2006 zed two years ago. It had 16,000 miles. It now has 32,000. I bought it to drive it. :driving:

Ashamed to say I've only covered 500 odd miles since I bought the zed last July ! I don't deliberately set out not to use the car but I prefer to take it out when the sun's shining with the hood down and I don't have to spend hours cleaning it as I keep it in the garage.

21k!! I've done 24K in mine and I thought I was slacking!!!!

Expensive garage furniture!! :P Sell it and hang a poster of one in the garage! Would be cheaper and you wouldn't have to clean it! :poke:

Just worked it out! I did almost 1200 miles last 12 months pushbiking to work!! :P

So did I, I did the 1200 service within a week as I was going on the Scotland run :D

I do very low mileage these days because I've got a Honda Civic daily snotter to do all the boring trawls up and down the motorway for work, to the supermarket where the kids bash your doors in, to the train station and back etc. In summary when it doesn't really matter if i have a 110 bhp car or a 338 bhp car.

My M comes out when I'm driving purely for pleasure. I appreciate it so much more these days as well. Every time I take it out is an occasion for me.
