Must be getting old!!!

So did the sound generator mod today, took it for a blast and.....foam went straight back in .
A few years ago I would of loved the noise but omg it's too much for me now lol.
Anybody else done the same and regretted it???

I think it’s far too much with both foams removed. I’ve got the bigger foam in place and trimmed the second smaller piece to about 40% of its original length. That works well - adds a little extra noise post 3.5k rpm but doesn’t give that overbearing scream from both foams removed! I must also be getting old :rofl:

Never modified a car. I had to drive the ///MR with the roof up today though something I hardly ever do. The exhaust sounded boomy and not nice. So I had to put it down as soon as it stopped pi##ing down.

I’m a deaf old rocker…..so back box delete and both foams removed. A real sonic assault form both directions.

the noise of the sound generator is really awfull, i think that I am going to take of this part of my N52 !!
