Musical road!!

I wonder how much money was spent to research, put out to bid, and then construct this very important transportation saftey device. :x :thumbsdown:
 
On many secondary roads here they use grooves to warn of an approaching stop sign. Originally these were cut quite deep, and nearby residents complained of the noise they created, so many of the grooves were either partially filled in, or filled in a recut to a shallower depth. They are still plenty loud inside the car, and you can hear them from a long distance if you are outside the car!

Pretty dumb doing this for "entertainment" on public roads.... :headbang: :headbang:
